This frame fits the new DJI 03 Air Unit!
This "Lite" version of our famous Banggod 5 inch is for pilots who love the frame but wish it was a little less chunky. This new frame lends itself better to light weight components to keep the AUW low. The features of this new version are identical to the original. So how did we remove all that weight? Could it be magic or FPV sorcery of some kind?! No, of course not. We updated plate thicknesses in various locations in combination with trimming excess material where it isn't needed. Additionally, we swapped out steel fasteners for aluminum in locations that don't necessarily need a heavy steel screw. We left steel in locations where they are absolutely required. So how will this new version crash compared to the original? Will it be just as tough? No, of course it won't. We have to work within the constraints of physics, not magic. It will be tougher than anything else out there in this weight range though assuming you build it properly and choose appropriate components.

Top plate changed from 2mm to 1.5mm
Bottom plate changed from 3mm to 2mm
Front arm brace changed from 5mm to 4mm
Camera cage side plates changed from 2.5mm to 2mm
Front cage plates changed from 28mm separation to 20mm
The two screws holding in the top of the TPU bulkhead to the top plate changed from phillips head screws to socket head
Arm pad changed from 4 hole to 3 hole. You don't need 4 screws to hold a motor on!
Carbon part geometry was trimmed in areas where there was material waste
Some steel screws were changed to 7075 aluminum
Some screw lengths were changed
"Toilet tank" lipo mount slots were removed from the top plate
Frame includes BOTH 3D antenna mounts needed to install either the dual antenna "air unit" or single antenna "vista"
All existing GoPro camera mounts will fit this new frame by using this angle bar that comes with the frame. The included angle bar will allow for 20 - 35 degrees of GoPro camera tilt. If you need higher than 35 degrees you will need to buy this.
